MEP

MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. These are the three aspects linked to every building project that includes design, and construction and deals with the setup, functioning, and maintenance of the three major elements of a building project. MEP Engineering is an integral part of a building project.

MEP WORK is a field of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works of the building. Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical (fire alarm, lighting, cabling, elevators..etc), and Plumbing ( firefighting, domestic water supply, sanitary, rainwater drainage) and steam distribution and medical gas piping in case of hospitals.

Electrician

Electricians are responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems. Electricians general work at homes, businesses, and construction sites, and generally work as contractors.

Welder

In a narrower sense, a welder is a tradesperson who specializes in fusing materials together. The term welder refers to the operator, the machine is referred to as the welding power supply.

Pipefitter

Pipefitters, sometimes simply called fitters, install and maintain pipes that carry chemicals, acids, and gases. ... Fitters install and repair pipe systems in power plants, as well as heating and cooling systems in large office buildings.

Plumber

Plumbers install and repair pipes that supply water and gas to, as well as carry waste away from, homes and businesses. They also install plumbing fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, and toilets, and appliances, including dishwashers and washing machines. Experienced plumbers train apprentices and supervise helpers.

Insulator

Insulators install and replace the material that saves energy and helps reduce noise in buildings and around vats, vessels, boilers, steam pipes, and water pipes. Insulators also install fire-stopping materials to prevent the spread of a fire and smoke throughout a building.

Duct Man

Ductman performs as a supervisor for equipment installation and metal fabrication work. Duct foreman, duct installer, duct fabricators are part of ductwork at construction sites. Duct fabricators will create ductwork products for cooling and heating equipment.

AC Technician

An HVAC or HVACR technician installs, repairs, or maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems that control the temperature and air quality in buildings. In some cases, an HVAC technician may specialize in installation, repair, or maintenance.
